When I first started seeing Melissa, I was having so many digestive issues from a Crohn’s flare I could barely eat anything. I had constant cramping, tons of mouth sores, an esophageal ulcer, and was going to the bathroom up to six times a day. She put me on a specific diet and I began to feel better even before my medication kicked in.

She helped me really look at what I put in my body daily, and why some of it probably wasn’t working for me. Also, she taught me how to recognize when something DOESN'T work, which is very important. Now, I feel excellent, and don’t feel like I’m missing out despite being gluten and dairy free (among other things)!

Melissa definitely loves food as much as I do, which is good for me. Part of each of our sessions is usually brainstorming amazing food combos. If I’m craving something specific it seems she always has an awesome recipe for me to try out.
